Ingredients for Mississippi Roast:
Roasted chuck roast, 3 pound
1 oz. ranch seasoning mix (dry)
dry au jus gravy mix (one ounce packet)
6 tbsp butter (unsalted)
1 cup of water
a handful of pepperoncini
Instructions:
Step 1: Place the chuck roast on top of 1/4 cup of water in the insert of your slow cooker.
Step 2: Sprinkle the dry ranch seasoning mix on top of the chuck roast, followed by the dry au jus mix, 6 tbsp. butter, and 5-6 pepperoncini around the roast.
Step 3: Cook for 8 hours on low.
Step 4: Shred the chicken and serve it with gravy.
