Ham and Cheese Americano
1 egg
2 tablespoons margarine
1/ 2 cup warm milk
1/2 cup lukewarm water
1 tablespoon powdered milk
3 tablespoons of sugar
1 teaspoon salt
5g/0.17oz dry baking powder
500g/17.63oz of wheat flour
How to Prepare:
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl, except the flour, and mix well. Add the flour little by little until it is ready to knead (firm dough). Start the kneading, transfer your dough to a workbench and knead until it is soft, elastic and light. After that, let the dough rise until it doubles in size.
Then shape the Americans, fill them to taste, put ham, mozzarella, olives and tomatoes, and sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Let rise again in a greased and floured pan, bake in a preheated oven at 200° until golden brown.
