Ingredients for Mom’s Butter Baked Chicken
4 breasts of chicken (I use boneless skinless)
1 litre of evaporated milk (12 oz)
1 pound of flour
a half teaspoon of salt
a quarter teaspoon of pepper
1 tablespoon of butter
1 cream of chicken soup (in a can)
1 cup of water
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
Pour a tiny amount of evaporated milk into a small dish and dip your chicken in it. After each piece of chicken has been dipped in the milk, roll it in the flour that has been seasoned with salt and pepper. Cook the chicken in the melted butter for 30 minutes at 425 degrees in a 13×9 pan.
Combine the water, soup, and the remaining evaporated milk in the can. After 30 minutes of baking, flip the chicken over.Pour the soup mixture over the top. Bake for another 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
